  11. A toy airplane is launched at an upward angle of 30.0 degrees to the horizontal with an initial speed of 30.0 m/s. How does the horizontal component of its velocity 1.0 seconds after the launch compare to its horizontal component of velocity 5.0 seconds after launching into the air?

  12. For each scenario, the projectile is launched from the same height, has the same speed, at the same initial angle. They all reach their maximum height before landing.Rank the scenarios from greatest to least in terms of their flight time and final speed. Explain.

  13. The projectile is launched so that yfinal = yo

  14. The projectile is launched so that yfinal > yo

  17.  A baseball is shot out of a pitching machine at 45.0 degrees to the horizontal with an initial speed of 25.0 m/s. There is a net stationed 45.0 meters from the cannon. At what height should the net be placed in order to catch the baseball?

  18. Andy dropped a football off of a 30.0 meter high cliff. If Andy hears the ball hitting the ground 4.00 s later, what was the original speed given to the football? (Speed of sound in the air is 343 m/s).
